Tooth-Colored Fillings
With modern dentistry, dark metal/amalgam fillings are not necessary. Dr. Hammock prefers to repair tooth decay by placing tooth-colored, composite resin fillings. The procedure is quick and easy, and with tooth-colored fillings, only you and Dr. Hammock will know that you've had a dental work done.
After we administer anesthesia to make you comfortable, Dr. Hammock will efficiently remove the decay in your tooth. He'll then tint a bit of liquid resin to match your tooth perfectly. Once the cavity is filled, we'll harden the liquid with a gentle curing light. Dr. Hammock will then shape your new, tooth-colored filling to fit comfortably with your bite and polish the tooth for optimal appearance.
